Classic Motor Cars (CMC) of Bridgnorth in association with Jaguar has showcased the stunning new Jaguar F-Type in the UK for the first time.
The F-Type took part in a special event at the Lord Mayor’s Show in the capital on Saturday (November 10th), with the model accompanied by two iconic E-Types donated by CMC.
A crowd of more than 500,000 gathered for the showcase, with the F-Type driven on the day by Olympian and Jaguar Academy of Sports ambassador Jessica Ennis.
Nick Goldthorp, CMC managing director, said: “We wanted to accompany the all-new F-TYPE with two iconic E-Types, which showed the strong historic links that exist between the two cars.”
He added that the moment was particularly poignant for him, as his father’s classic E-Type was driven in the show in 1973 by Formula One legend Graham Hill.
The F-Type was first unveiled at the recent 2012 Paris Motor Show, with the vehicle receiving an extremely warm reception both from the public and representatives of the automotive industry.
