As the weather starts to get colder it is time to move the car shows indoors and first up is the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at Birmingham NEC.

The show this year covered an impressive 11 halls, not wasting an inch of space as there were classic cars and bikes from wall to wall.

From Auto Jumbles to Restoration Demos, antiques to modern classics, there was something for everyone.

Ferrari

The Silverstone Auction proved a hit, managing to sell 85 cars over the four days totalling £2.8 million which was £1.5 million up on last years sales figures!

As well as a huge selection of classic cars, there was a hall dedicated purely to classic bikes.

This Harley Davidson XR-750 was the first ever built back in 1969.

As well as all of the fantastic cars and bikes on display the legendary David Soul paid a visit and was subsequently reunited with the Ford Gran Torino from Starsky and Hutch.

Overall, the show was an outstanding success with early attendance figures clocked at just under 65,000 which is already 5000 up on last year

Being one step ahead, next years show is already booked in for 14th – 16th November.
