Bank holiday weekend saw the start of the British Drift Championship’s first qualifying round at Lydden Hill in Kent. This year has seen one-hundred drivers from all three categories (Semi-Pro, Pro & Super-Pro) take to the tarmac, with new drivers on the track who acquired their licenses earlier in the year.

The drivers attacked the track, smoking the circuit but, as always, the heavens opened and this meant that there wasn’t a lot of smoke – but still plenty of skids! Throwing the cars hard into the corners, pushing their cars, the hardest part was maintaining the slide and coming out the other side still in one piece.
