The Arrinera Hussarya GT prototype was the first Polish car to ever take on the famous hillclimb at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
It was a momentous occasion and one that was taken very seriously by the automotive community. And now, the GT prototype has been on a road tour around several of Poland’s most beautiful cities.
The car itself, is a GT4 racer that boasts carbon fibre materials and a V8 engine that packs a serious punch. Further boosting performance is a sequential Hewland gearbox, which gives a ride that feels as impressive as it looks.
Cities that were graced by the presence of the racer included Szczecin, Wroclaw and Warsaw and the different locations in these areas seemed almost at odds with the model.
For example, the prototype’s hard-faced exterior appearance stood out sharply against the cobblestone-paved terraces in Szczecin, which aren’t the typical setting for a car photoshoot.
The Hussarya GT also made a stop in a park in Szczecin that houses the largest population of plane trees in Poland. The comparison of this feat of engineering against such a natural backdrop was quite something to behold.
It seems that the makers of this fine car were making a point about how special it is, as it was also set against the background of the Philharmonic in Szczecin, which has won the Miles van der Rohe prize for being the most beautiful building in Europe.
No matter where the car was taken on its road tour, it was almost flattened by crowds of people who were desperate to take pictures of it and even just stand next to it!
After careening around the most stunning places in Poland, the car was brought back to the UK for some further testing and development before it will be rolled out to the masses.
Take a look at the Arrinera Hussarya GT prototype in action in Warsaw here, and keep your eyes peeled for its official release date.
