Aston Martin has reported an unprecedented level of online interest in its new Vanquish.
The luxury sports car was officially unveiled last week and appears to have sent petrolheads into an internet frenzy, with the manufacturer's website clocking its highest ever level of traffic on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
A video produced to accompany the launch has also amassed nearly 200,000 views on YouTube since last Wednesday (June 20th), Aston Martin said.
Pete Norwood, the brand's digital marketing communications manager, described the interest in the new Vanquish as "a very clear indicator of how exciting our new sports car is".
Due to go on sale next year, the updated Vanquish features a carbon-fibre body and a completely re-engineered version of Aston Martin's 6.0-litre V12 engine. It will be priced from £189,995.
The car has been described by the manufacturer's chief executive Dr Ulrich Bez as "the ultimate expression of Aston Martin design ethos, engineering innovation and technical ability".
