Just when you thought you had everything, here’s a new ‘must have’ for any Motorsport enthusiast!
New Heel + Toe Socks – high performance Motor SPORT… Socks! For years car enthusiasts have been able to buy hats, T-shirts, shoes and jackets geared to their passion. Heel+Toe Socks, a new Kickstarter venture, now completes the package with hi-quality, performance socks inspired by the greatest racing cars of all time!
As they explain…
In late 2015, Heel+Toe Socks co-founder Josh Maule approached friend and co-founder Brian Richardson with an idea — be the first to combine the high performance technology of cycling socks with designs inspired by the unforgettable and timeless liveries of legendary race cars. Both men were raised around sports cars, own Porsche’s and share a love of racing history.
Their plan was simple, use Josh’s knowledge and experience in performance technology for clothing, and Brian’s expert design background to develop an American Made sock line for sports car enthusiasts. With the seed planted, the idea began to take shape, but with four kids, two businesses, and two extremely supportive spouses between them, a full year had passed before they were really in a position to shift out of neutral.
They chose the 2018 LA Porsche Literature & Memorabilia Show to make their debut. Josh and Brian sculpted their vision in the form of the 1970 Targa Florio winning JWAE Porsche 908/3. This was the first “prototype” sock produced by Heel+Toe Socks. After a successful rollout in LA, their spouses Ginger and Dia joined in, and the two man show became a two family affair.
Galvanized by many avenues and the rich history of the motoring world, this team is hard at work developing visually appealing socks that pair perfectly with your driving, dress, or athletic footwear. Don’t wait too long though, once a design run sells out, it may not be reissued for a very long time, if at all, making Heel+Toe Socks as collectible as they are functional.
Much like the machines these socks are inspired by, airflow, reliability, and pushing the limits of the design constraints set Heel+Toe Socks apart from the same old stuff that’s been sandwiched between feet and shoes for centuries. Unlike typical car themed outer wear, Heel+Toe Socks can be worn out loud and proud, or concealed and ready to be revealed when the time is right. No matter how you choose to wear them, your feet will stay happy from start to finish.

Heel+Toe Socks has just launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign intending to raise enough money to produce a new line of MotorSPORT socks featuring Porsche, Datsun and Ford. The socks are manufactured in the USA and will be available (with project funding) in late June for all backers.
