Sunday 13th August 2012 saw the return of Europe’s biggest Ford festival – Ford Fair at Silverstone Circuit. With last year’s attendance reaching over 17,000, expectations were high and, as ever, we were truly impressed with the event. The sun was shining and the cars were outstanding with plenty for the guests to admire, from classics to new, modified Fords.
From the Ford drag racing display to the Classic Ford Zone, there were plenty of things to do. One of the special guests was Paul Swift with his amazing stunt display. This year he also decided to go head to head with the man who introduced him to stunt driving, his father Russ Swift! With an action packed day, it would have been impossible to be disappointed. Something new for 2012 was the Motorsport Zone which welcomed back the likes of the Blue Oval Saloon Series, Ford Drag cars and the Ford Fiesta Championship plus the younger category, Ford Fiesta Juniors.
Whether you’re a Ford fanatic, you have an appreciation for classic or modified cars or you’re just looking for an action packed day out, Ford Fair is the place for you. See you there next year!
