Yesterday, Performance Direct went along for a cheeky, sneak peek of this year’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Joining us were more than 250 media for the traditional Media Day launch where representatives from national, regional radio and television were all on hand to catch a glimpse of what is in store.

Taking place at Donington Park, the event is set to be one of the biggest of its kind and having a location on the Leicestershire-Derbyshire border makes it a great spot for all attendees; easily accessible by road and even nearby East Midlands Airport.

Donington Park has a long and understanding relationship with the BTCC and has been part of the show since 1977 when Tom Wheatcroft first opened the track, making Donington just as iconic as the motor cars that race it.

BTCC Series Director Alan Gow added, “We’re delighted that Donington will host the launch of our 2013 season. As well as providing fantastic racing, Donington is also a great circuit for teams to test their latest cars and developments on.”
