Even in an age where we have ‘fake news’ and everyone and their dog has a blog or social media account, there’s no better way of thrusting your opinions on total strangers than the good ol’ car bumper sticker.
This week (Friday 13 January) marks National Sticker Day. The one day of the year where the world rallies together to celebrate the humble sticker. 2016’s festivities saw a Colorado custom sticker company set the world record for the biggest and heaviest sticker ball, so who knows what 2017’s will bring.

The US election may be old news but regardless of whether you were backing Trump or Hillary, we can all get behind the idea of voting for the Simpsons’ Mayor Quimby. Rather than Springfield, this was spotted in New York.
Without wanting to get into any examples, Fox News has come out with some pretty outrageous statements in its time. This sticker captures that feeling perfectly.
Who knows what this sticker is getting at, but boiled peanuts apparently have four times the antioxidants of raw or roasted peanuts, so that’s something I guess.
There’s marijuana, which is illegal in most US states. Then there’s gay marijuana, which is also illegal apparently. Who knew?
