Lucy and her family have visited a total of six ecological and heritage sites across the UK such as; the Tower of London, the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, the Living Rainforest, Stonehenge, the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium, which Lucy and her family have thoroughly enjoyed and they are looking forward to visiting the remaining three attractions!

The three remaining attractions to visit on their list are; the National Botanic Garden of Wales, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) and Greenwood Family Park, which the family are extremely excited to visit.

A special thank you to the Eden Project, the National Marine Aquarium, the Botanic Garden of Wales, the Centre for Alternative Technology and Greenwood Family Park for being able to help support Motor-Vision and Lucy’s ‘Are We There Yet Mum?’ project.

Also, a massive thank you to our good friends at ‘Best Car Finder’ for supplying the all-electric BMW i3s for Lucy’s road trip.

How has Lucy been finding her all-electric trip so far?

Are we there yet mum - BMW i3s charging

Despite the slight hiccups with some of the public chargers being out of action, Lucy has found that it’s not only possible but also fairly easy to successfully pull off a family road trip around the UK in a fully electric vehicle based on her findings so far.

However, she has expressed that to do so, you will need to do some extensive planning in advance to make sure you have plenty of electric charger points available along your chosen route.

Once Lucy and her family have completed their trip next week, Motor-Vision will liaise with her and report back with her findings to provide an accurate representation on how realistic, easy and achievable it is to successfully pull off an all-electric family road trip around the UK.
