Join Deryck as he explains his connection with this iconic Porsche 930 Turbo. There is always a reason why we have a relationship with our pride & joys, be it through sentimental value or the love/hate relationships that you develop with your car. This 930 Turbo isn’t only unique in Australia because of the limited numbers imported back in the ’70s, but because of the relationship that has developed over the years!

The awesome team over at Petrolicious have made a short film where Deryck shares his experiences from the first day he got the car from his Uncle to the present day where he hopes that he can pass it down to his young son, Elvis, but there will be a lot of training ahead for Elvis as these cars very quickly where given the nickname “The Widow Maker” because as Deryck says:

A lot of people bought these cars and didn’t come home

Here at Motor-Vision we love these personal stories as it really outlines the personality of the owners and you can see this reflected into the cars themselves! So if you think you have a story worth sharing with the world get in touch by sending us an e-mail to: [email protected]
