When people think of supercars, then tend to think, that’s going to cost £100,000 or more, but this doesn’t have to be the case, as lots of great high-performance cars are much more affordable.

Of course, we’re not saying that you’re going to be able to pick one up for a couple of grand, but you don’t have to pay a six-figure sum just to get your hands on something amazing.

We’ve picked our top five high performance cars that cost under £100,000, we’d love to know what you think too!

Lamborghini Gallardo

You’d be forgiven for thinking that a Lamborghini Gallardo would always cost you a price with six figures – but that doesn’t have to be the case!

lambo Gallardo

As it’s Lamborghini’s entry-level model, this means that it’s more affordable than other variants, but its performance still packs a massive punch.

It has a mid-mounted V10 engine that delivers unreal performance and thanks to the four-wheel-drive transmission and other driving dynamics influenced by Audi, it feels like a dream on the road.

Unsurprisingly, it was an expensive model when it first came out, but the Gallardo will now cost you around £65,995. Hurry up and get your hands on now before the price starts racking back up again thanks to its classic credentials.

Bentley Continental

When one of these was brand new its sticker price was posted at more than £140,000, but you can usually pick one of these up for £56,000 now.

bentley speed

This includes the price for the GT Speed – the most powerful version of the Bentley Continental and believe us when we tell you that this thing looks good.

Enjoy the huge 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine with an output of 602bhp and just let ‘er rip on the motorway, old boy!

*It is going to be expensive to run though, as it’s a heavy unit – you’re looking at around 15mpg.*

Porsche 911 Turbo

The 911 series from Porsche has always been a popular choice, as it harks to the world of motorsport in which the manufacturer is so firmly established.

A few years ago, you would’ve had to have spent just shy of £100,000 on this model, but you can find them now for £62,995.

This is quite the bargain, considering the all-weather label of this Porsche 911 Turbo and its lightning performance figure of 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds.

Jaguar F-TYPE

Jaguar F-Type

This has probably been one of the most popular supercar models on the market for the past couple of years and it’s easy to see why.

Even the entry-level Jaguar F-TYPE has an output of 567bhp and does a 0-60mph sprint in 3.5 seconds.

With a top level speed of 200mph, killer aesthetics and a stunning paint job, the F-TYPE has everything you want from a supercar. It even has a price that will make you happy, as the entry-level variant comes in at £51,775.

Audi R8 V10

A limited edition vehicle, the Audi R8 V10 is an impressive runner but is hard to come across, as there were only 24 models made worldwide.

It was built with an engine capable of producing 601bhp and it has exclusive features including stampings of the R8 24h logo throughout the interior.

With a price of around £90,000, it’s along the more expensive lines, as compared to the rest of the cars we’ve picked – but it is an absolute stunner, there’s no denying that.

We’d like to know, which are you favourite supercars and if you’ve managed to snap up a bargain buy – let us know and share some photos of the classy chassis’.
