Kitted out with nappa leather coating on the seating, this is followed throughout right to the steering wheel which also includes DINAMICA microfiber.You may struggle on colour choice though as there\u2019s a range of 10 interior colours to choose from. Both of the twin roadsters can be transformed from coup\u00e9s into open top sports cars, and there\u2019s a choice of three colours, black, red and beige for the soft top as well.Exterior wise, once again you\u2019re being spoilt for colour, with a selection of 11 colours to choose from and it\u2019s evident that the athletic style of the AMG GT R exterior has been used as inspiration. The wide rear, aluminium side walls and muscular body allow way for 19 and 20-inch light-alloy wheels in a 5 twin-spoke design, helping to increase speed whilst set with that rear axle steering.As like all cars today, the lighter the weight the better, and that\u2019s exactly what Mercedes have gone for with the AMG GT and GT C Roadsters. The intelligent use of mixed body materials and aluminium alloy has been used for the chassis and body. Magnesium has been used around the front as a lighter element in order to improve the Roadsters agility.Both GT Roadsters are fit with a V8 engine, including twin turbocharging, making them economy friendly due to the low emissions from the air flow in the fit catalytic converters.Speed wise these Roadsters are quick; however, the AMG GT C seems to beat the AMG GT by a fraction due to the fact that GT C has a larger output of 410 Kw, as opposed to the GT\u2019s output of 350 kW. The AMG GT C sees a sprint from 0-60mph in an impressive 3.7 seconds, with the ability to reach a top speed of 196mph. As mentioned the AMG GT is slightly slower than the GT C but only marginally, reaching 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds., with an all-round top speed reaching 187mph.Chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH comments – “With our two Roadster models, we are strategically expanding the AMG GT family by two exciting variants. With the AMG GT C Roadster, we are also introducing a new model variant to which we have transferred main performance-related components from our top sports car, the AMG GT R.
