Obviously, any Lambo is special but what exactly goes into a car to make people want to spend that kind of money?As the name may have suggested, the Centenario (pronounced \u2018sen-ten-ahh-ree-oh\u2019) was devised to celebrate 100 years of the Italian brand\u2019s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.As such, designers were let off the leash to come up with an open design that embodies the forward-thinking qualities of Lamborghini\u2019s visionary founder and demonstrates the brand\u2019s commitment to elevating automotive design to new heights.With clean surfaces and superb reflections, the Centenario is weighted by a \u2018form follows function\u2019 ethos boasting low overhangs at the front and rear of the carbon fibre body, which is matte finished in an exclusive special silver exterior colour, named Argento Centenatrio.It uses the most powerful engine ever built by Lamborghini – a naturally aspirated V12 with 759bhp – and because it weighs little more than 1.5 tonnes, it can blast to 62mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed in excess of 217mph.
