The first nine are available to purchase through Aston Martin Cambridge.The exterior shade of the special edition Vanquish – eclat red – has been chosen to match the familiar livery of the Hawks while the the word ‘eclat\u2019 is a reference to the Red Arrows’ motto, meaning \u2018brilliant display or effect\u2019.Subtle details can be found across the bodywork and throughout the interior including white and blue carbon livery detailing and a white smoke trail feature on the side strake.An exposed carbon fibre roof panel includes an inlaid ‘charge’ pattern mimicking the canopy design of a fast jet, while Union Jack enamel wing badges and a titanium exhaust complete the exterior look.Aston Martin has a history of paying tribute to Britain\u2019s Armed Forces, following on from 2016\u2019s V12 Vantage S Spitfire 80 Edition, created to mark the 80th anniversary since the Supermarine Spitfire’s first flight, and the earlier Vantage S Blades Edition, developed in collaboration with the Blades Aerobatic Display Team.Under the bonnet will be the familiar 5935cc V12 engine with 591bhp, which can get the car from naught to 62mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 201mph.Chuck in an eight-speed Touchtronic III transmission, quad-exhaust tailpipes and revised inlet manifolds for increased engine airflow, and it only makes sense that the Red Arrows would be honoured with what Aston deems to be \u2018the ultimate supercar\u2019."},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Supercars","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/supercars\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"name":"Aston Martin honours Red Arrows with limited edition Vanquish S","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/supercars\/aston-martin-red-arrows-vanquish-s\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
