The Rimac Concept_One looks set to be among the star attractions of this year's Salon Prive supercar show in London.

With an interior made by former Pininfarina designers and Bulgarian leatherworks company Vilner, the vehicle features a 92kWh battery powering individual electric motors within each wheel.

It will cost $1 million (£780,000) and only 88 models of the Concept_One will come off the production line.

Supercar lovers will be able to see the innovative vehicle when the 2012 Salon Prive gets underway at Syon House on Wednesday September 5th.

Mate Rimac, the 24-year-old chief executive of the Croatian company, said the Concept_One is "an exceptional supercar with a new propulsion concept".

He described it as "a fully-fledged hypercar that is as powerful as a Bugatti, as stylish as a Ferrari and as luxurious as a Mercedes, all while managing to forsake even the tiniest sip of gasoline".

The Concept_One, which received its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, boasts a top speed of 190 mph, can go from zero to 62 mph in an impressive 2.8 seconds and has a theoretical range of 373 miles.

Salon Prive 2012 is set to run from September 5th to 7th at its new home in west London, with a record number of visitors and exhibitors expected to attend.

"The move to Syon House in 2011 was a fantastic opportunity to further develop and expand the event, while still retaining the exclusive atmosphere and intimacy that we are renowned for," said co-founder of the show David Bagley.

Leading brands such as Bentley, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Noble and Spyker will all be represented at the event.

Tickets for the Chubb Insurance Concours D'Elegance Judging Day on Friday September 7th are priced at £225 for unreserved seating on the lawns and £325 for reserved places in the Great Hall.
