Vehicle manufacturer Nissan has announced a limited production run of its Juke-R crossover model, which could have performance car enthusiasts excited to say the least.
Gareth Dunsmore, marketing product manager for the Juke brand, said: “The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan’s most innovative models. But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing.”
As a result, the company has decided to put the model into production – albeit in an extremely limited run – with Nissan having already received three orders for the 160 mph, 545 bhp supercar.
The Juke-R is set to roll off production lines for the first time in late 2012 and those interested in placing an order have just four weeks to do so.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer has claimed the full production model will be even more powerful than the concept on which it is based.
