The 675T is offered only as a coupe and is set to be the most track-focused, road legal model in the McLaren Super Series, partly because of its power to weight ratio that beats its established rivals. This car can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and has controlled torque delivery, which ensures optimised traction off the line. It can reach a top speed of 205 mph.It is designed to look more aggressive than any McLaren car model that has ever been seen before. This car has an extended carbon fibre front splitter, an extended door blade, an extra cooling intake and circular twin titanium exhaust pipes which are all intended to show off some styling and to hint at the performance levels that are available from this car; the lightest and most powerful in the McLaren Super Series. The 675LT comes equipped with a Longtail Airbrake that is 50 per cent bigger than the one fitted to the 650S but because it has a carbon fibre structure it weighs less. In fact, the dry weight of the 675LT is 1,230 kg.More than half of the parts in the car’s 3.8 litre V8 engine have been changed to deliver higher levels of power, torque and driveability. There are a number of upgrades that have been added to the car, such as newer and more efficient turbos, detail design changes on the exhaust manifolds and cylinder heads, a new camshaft and lightweight connecting rods, a fuel pump and delivery system that flows faster. As the name of the car suggests, it produces 675 PS as well as a power-to-weight ratio of 549 PS per tonne.
