Luxury sport car manufacturer Ferrari has announced plans to unveil the new version of its California model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month.
Set to run from March 8th to 18th, the event will be the stage for the new California GDI V8.
Providing improved performance of 490 bhp and 505 Nm of torque, the new California can deliver acceleration of zero to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
The handling and refinement of the vehicle has also been improved through weight reductions of 30 kg, without impacting on structural rigidity or performance.
In addition, Ferrari is set to offer its Handling Speciale package, which will include Magnetorheological dampers to boost response time when handling, as well as a ten per cent faster steering ratio, enabling the new California to be more reactive and have a smaller turning circle in comparison to previous incarnations.
Ferrari is also celebrating the 25th anniversary of its iconic F40 model this year, with the luxury car manufacturer planning a spectacular display of the vehicles at the upcoming Silverstone Classic event.
