Engine and transmission

Sure, the C7 car looks great but the question is; what’s it like power-wise? Chevrolet says that it can go from 0 to 60mph in 3.8 seconds. Its power output is 466 PS at 6,000 rpm and it can also reach 630 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm.

Under the hood of the vehicle is a V8 petrol engine that connects to a seven speed manual transmission gearbox. The car is rear-wheel drive.

Drivers have plenty of options for the colour of their C7, including Laguna Blue Tintcoat, Torch Red, Arctic White or just simply Black.

The car has five air vents, which are located in the bonnet, front bumper and rear so that the engine can be cooled and lift can be reduced. It also has frosted high-intensity LED headlamps, as well as four-element tail lights to flash your advance. The car is adorned with Corvette Stingray badges.

On the driver’s side, there is an auto-dimming mirror, to deal with bright headlights. Customers can also opt to make their C7 into a convertible.

Interior

On the inside of the car are a selection of premium materials to give it an extra level of style. Its panels and steering wheel are hand wrapped in leather or a suede-effect micro-fibre. Its surfaces are done in either aluminium or carbon-fibre. The car’s seats are bolstered and made from a lightweight magnesium frame, so that the driver and passengers are kept in position while the C7 is going fast.

There’s also an auto-dimming rear view mirror to deal with dazzling headlights. The car also has plenty of storage space, such as behind the radio and under the centre armrest.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 car is available in the UK now, with prices starting from £65,510.
