Who wants Jamie Vardy's Mercedes AMG?

Well, if you do, you’re in luck because it’s being sold on Auto Trader and we imagine that some pretty happy Leicester City fans might be interested in this one.

The car is a unique Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and – just to be clear – Jamie Vardy isn’t the current owner, he has previously owned the vehicle, but now it’s being sold by a private seller.

Interestingly though, the person who owns the car at the moment did in fact buy the car from Jamie. He was apparently on the lookout for a Mercedes C63 AMG and was offered two different models, which were both owned by professional footballers. Small world, eh?

One belonged to the now retired Zatyiah “Zat” Knight from Bolton FC and the other is the Vardy-mobile who was playing for Leicester City when the team was fighting against relegation.

Danny Sangster is the man with the keys to this AMG now, says that he loves this car and puts particular emphasis on how cool it is to be driving around in a motor that was originally bought by a footballer.

However, he believes that the car would be better appreciated by a Leicester City fan “who would treasure this car as a piece of motoring history – so that’s why I chose to put it for display […] in the hopes of finding that person”.

The Polar White AMG is powered by a 6.3-litre V8, which nestles under the bonnet that knocks out an impressive 457bhp.

For all of you keen auto enthusiasts out there, you’ll have noticed that this is around three times more power than a standard family hatchback .

It does a 0-62mph sprint in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.

The 2013 Mercedes C63 AMG. once owned by Jamie Vardy is for sale on Auto Trader for £38,500 and with just over 14,000 miles on the clock, it’s got plenty of life left in it yet.
