It really is rather pleasant.McLaren want their new P1 to be \u2018the best driver\u2019s car in the world on road and track\u2019, and while this might be a bold claim indeed, it seems that the McLaren company culture is deeply inspired by bossman Ron Dennis, a chap who\u2019s famous for getting what he wants. Well, if the P1 lives up to the marketing speak, the 375 people who will get to own one of the around-\u00a31million big Macs will be in for a serious treat. They better bring their driving A-game.The 903bhp P1 uses the 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol motor from the MP4-12c, but with extra turbo boost for super-serious-shove, as well as the latest in hybrid electric motor tech to reduce emissions (a bit!) and to bring that instant, turbo-lag-beating acceleration that electric motors do so well.
