There are large, distinctly unmovable stone buildings very close to the track at times during the assent. Indeed, close enough to see the moss growing on the old stones! So to hurtle up it in the new 900bhp+ McLaren P1 supercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is likely to be a life-changing experience. A pro driver will be doing the piloting business however, so all you 14-year-old Forza game players can stop rubbing your hands with glee!Makers of the new Big Mac, McLaren Automotive, has teamed up with Xbox and Forza Motorsport 5 to offer one this hot seat during the 2013 Festival of Speed. This will be the first time the new P1 would’ve been let off the leash in public, so there will be thousands of people watching you – or more likely the car – as it attacks the famous Hill.The fastest cars up the Hill are F1-style racers with tons of aero-grip for quick corner speeds, or huge horsepower rally-style cars that just tear through the scenery rather than up it! Still, the P1 with its McLaren F1 know-how, lashings of carbon fibre, super-wide tyres and 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V8 motor behind you and the driver, should make pretty tasty work of the twisty hill-climb course.One very lucky (and plucky!) competition winner will be given the chance to experience the wonderful Goodwood Hill and be a guest of the McLaren 50th anniversary celebrations as the passenger in the mega McLaren P1. The competition celebrates also the P1’s starring role on the cover of the new Xbox One console game Forza Motorsport 5. The P1 is getting very sideways in this shot!Only 375 McLaren P1s will be made and at over 1-million big ones each, it’s not that likely many will be seen on the roads in the UK. And while we’re sure that Forza 5 will be a cracking game with some seriously cool cars, you really want to see a beast like the P1 for real, in the wild. And preferably on full chat! By Dan Anslow "},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
