Toyota Gazoo Racing has recently announced that they have produced 100 factory race-prepared GR Supra GT4 units since the launch of this model in March 2020. The strong demand for this homologation special has led to its success in various races worldwide. By the end of 2022, GR Supra GT4 models had participated in 317 races and achieved 79 class wins, 20 outright victories, and 207 podium finishes in GT4 championships. For the 2023 season, around 60 GR Supra GT4s are scheduled to compete in races across Europe, North America, Asia, and Japan.

To celebrate the production of 100 units, TGR has launched the limited-edition GR Supra GT4 ‘100 Edition.’ This model features an exclusive exterior colour, unique front bodywork, and a badge with a serial number. Only three units will be produced, making it twice as exclusive as the previous GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’.

To keep the GR Supra GT4 a class favourite, Toyota Gazoo Racing engineers sought feedback and actively made improvements to the GR Supra GT4 Evo in the areas of brake, handling, and engine performance. Thanks to an improved brake system design, new ABS settings, the latest KW damper technology, and updated anti-roll bar specification, the GR Supra GT4 Evo delivers improved handling and higher cornering speeds. The upgraded six-cylinder, turbocharged engine now has an optimized torque curve, making it more effective and allowing drivers to push for faster lap times.

The GR Supra GT4 Evo made its competitive debut in January 2023 at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the first round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season. The brand new GR Supra GT4 Evo cars cost €186,000 plus taxes, customs, and logistics fees. Orders should be placed through regional TGR centres. Existing GR Supra GT4 owners can order an upgrade kit to elevate their race car to Evo specification.

The GR Supra GT4 Evo specifications include a steel/aluminium body with high-strength FIA-specification roll-cage, natural fibre composite front splitter and rear wing, 120-liter ATL FT3 safety fuel cell with the fast refuelling system, OMP race seat with a six-point safety harness, and more.
