However, the model delivers more than just an updated version of an older car.Attention to detail has been a top priority for these manufacturers as the supercar has been beautifully finished by using hand-polished aluminum for the panels and chassis. It gives the vehicle the ultimate high-end feel, and the premium ambience doesn’t stop there.The Low Drag GT is the living revival of one of Jaguar’s most popular racing concepts ever, delivering a fastback E-type that is wider, more streamlined, and with far more power than any other coupe from the firm.In its original form, the Malcolm Sayer E-Type was the ultimate model that could outperform many in its class. The vehicle delivered a high-speed express drive that could reach huge top speeds for a fraction of the cost of some of its rivals.The Eagle Low Drag GT is based on the E-Type from the early 1960s. However, the company has teamed the classic style with technology that is right in the present.To put it bluntly, the Eagle Low Drag GT is a prime example of Jaguar’s fastback style.There is a beautiful fluidity throughout the vehicle as the manufacturers have provided aluminium in different parts of the model; the engine and gearbox. This ensures that the Eagle can truly fly as it reduces the weight by more than 30 per cent.Its all-aluminium body is crafted from high-quality parts from by RS Panels, which are widely recognised as one of the best in the world for E-type bodies. The design team then incorporated their own specific criteria to ensure that the body gave the model, combined with the aluminium high torque 4.7-litre engine, fuel injection, five-speed transmission, and touring axle ratio, resulting in incredible performance.All this means that its performance on the track has been visibly enhanced from the original model. It is capable of 0-60 in less than five seconds, with an impressive top speed that exceeds 170mph. There is a lot of power under the bonnet as it comes with 345hp, proving that the model can deliver in more than one area.The streamlined car doesn’t feel cramped as Jaguar has lengthened the shell and lowered the floor to make the most of the potential space. The cabin space is significantly increased with extra head and legroom, meaning that comfort is as much of a priority as speed.All this allows any driver to get behind the wheel and feel like Lewis Hamilton. The car gives a smooth ride through its long gears and plentiful torque, no matter what the skill level or ability of the driver may be.It is undeniably good looking too.
