It is the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003S, essentially a road legal take on the SCG003C race car that promises to bring track-car levels of downforce and cornering grip to a street car.

It wasn’t expected to be revealed until March 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show. We’re not complaining though; it looks phenomenal!

While SCG has released plenty of images, solid numbers are hard to come by. However, the company has said enough to suggest that they’re aiming for something truly special.

What we do know is that the SCG003S will come with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo engine – possibly a V8 – capable of producing more than 750bhp and clearing 0-62mph in less than three seconds with a top speed in excess of 217mph. It will sit on the same monocoque chassis as its SCG003 sibling too.

SCG wants to make it the fastest-cornering car on sale – an aim shared by Aston Martin’s AM-RB 001 hypercar – with advanced aerodynamic downforce helping the car’s prospective cornering ability, generating a claimed 2g in corners.

The company says the car will be “packed full of the latest technology” and feature motorsport-honed driver aids.

Prices won’t be confirmed until its Geneva premiere next year, but we’d reckon you’re looking at seven figures easy.

Even if you’re lucky enough to have the funds, you’ll be even more fortunate if you end up with one. Availability will be extremely limited, with the SCG003S primed to be “a collectible car like no other”.

Each car will be hand-built from the middle of 2017, which provides the opportunity to add bespoke elements and ensures that every SCG003S will be one-of-a-kind.
