Theconcept lands alongside a refreshed design identity that looks to establish a new era for theCzech automaker.Skoda aims for all-electric models to make up at least 70% of their products across Europeby 2030. The Vision 7S, alongside a new compact SUV and a small EV, is set to play a role inreaching this target.The Vision 7S provides an insight into what we can expect from Skoda’s planned all-electricseven-seater SUV. The concept is based on VW Group’s Modular Electrification Kit (MEB)and houses an 89kWh battery capable of delivering a maximum range of over 600km(WLTP).At the front, the Vision 7S features Skoda’s new ‘Tech Deck’ face, a contemporaryreinterpretation of Skoda’s grille which is flatter and wider than previous incarnations. Thefront integrates seven vertical air intakes, whilst the back has nine vertical air outlets builtinto the rear bumper. The bright orange component seen at the front and back of the Vision7S can be pulled out to serve as hooks and can also be used to cut off the vehicle’s high-voltage current from the exterior if necessary.Inside, the Vision 7S looks to create a roomy experience for up to seven passengers,boasting a symmetrical design that ensures no passenger is left short-changed when itcomes to space.The rotating 14.6-inch central screen and various sliding components facilitate two differentconfigurations: Driving and Relaxing. The former is for when the car is in motion andinvolves, amongst other things, positioning controls such that they are easy to reach for thedriver. When charging, the Vision 7S can be set to Relaxing mode at the touch of a button.This shifts the steering wheel and instrument cluster backwards to create more room forpassengers and rotates and reclines the front seats for added comfort.The cabin is also leather-free and has been furnished using a selection of sustainablematerials. The floor is made from recycled tyres, whilst the door panels are padded in ablack fabric derived from recycled polyester yarns. Recycled fabric can also be found on thedashboard and the inner regions of the seats.elThe Vision 7S has been unveiled alongside an updated design language which looks todefine a new electrical and digital age for Skoda. It is characterised by reduced lines whichhighlight simplicity, as well as a more minimalist aesthetic that focuses on sustainability.Skoda has also unveiled a fresh brand logo which, in keeping with their new tenets ofecology, electromobility and sustainability, makes use of Emerald and Electric Green hues.The logo also parts ways with the use of sculptural 3D graphics, Skoda’s response to thegrowing shift in marketing trends that have seen print make way for digital media.Images: https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/images/"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
