The car will be painted Flame Red when it is launched, Renault says that this is to symbolise vehicles that inspire passion. The car is available with either four or two-wheel drive transmission, suiting it both for adventure as well as town driving. This is helped by its small size, as it is only 4.45 metres long and 1.84 metres wide.Kadjar draws cues from SUVs, saloons and estates. It also draws inspiration from the Captur concept car and the DeZir concept car.Part of the reason why Renault has opted to release a C-segment crossover is because of this type of car’s increasing popularity. During 2014, 23 per cent of cars bought in Europe were crossovers and this figure rose to 26 per cent in China. This means that Kadjar will be the first vehicle from Renault to be manufactured in China, which will help the car brand to grow in popularity in this country.Captur, the older sibling to Kadjar, was the second model to come out of Renault’s crossover range. It followed on from the Renault Koleos and saw success almost immediately. Captur came out on top of the European B-segment crossover market, having seen slightly more than 178,000 registrations during 2014.There are a range of engine choices available for the Renault Kadjar, which are designed to offer low fuel consumption and low carbon dioxide emissions.Kadjar will be unveiled at the 85th Geneva Motor Show, which will be opened to the public on March 5th."},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Latest News","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"name":"Renault Kadjar unveiled","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/renault-kadjar-unveiled\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
