This new four-door model promises customers the speed and agility of a premium sports car.This car utilises the same platform as the Lexus GS but it has had a number of enhancements, including to those of the powertrain.It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine that can produce 467 bhp at 7,100 rpm and its peak torque is 527 Nm between 4,800 and 5,600 rpm.This unit can operate in both Otto and Atkinson combustion cycles so that power or efficiency can be optimised depending on the conditions that the driver puts the car through.Its transmission is provided through an eight-speed automatic gearbox with a manual shift function.The Torque Vectoring Differential that made its debut in the Lexus RC F is set to be part of the standard specification of the GS F, which will be a defining feature of its handling quality.
