Well, the Jaguar F-Type SVR ticks all those boxes, while also managing to look like a timeless classic.In fact, the SVR F-Type has 25bhp more than the current F-Type R model as well as being 0.4 seconds faster. It also beats the R version’s top speed of 185mph by 15mph too; and while I doubt anyone other than Thomas Newton in The Man Who Fell To Earth would notice the extra 0.4 seconds, a human just might (on occasion) notice the extra bhp and top speed.There are, as you might imagine, some very nice touches to this car; like the titanium and Inconel (an alloy resistant to corrosion at high temperature) F1 style exhaust. The chassis gets some upgrades to cope with the extra power too, like new dampers and anti-roll bars. The tyres are wider and the wheels are lighter too.So what about that 4-wheel drive? The 4-wheel drive is Jaguar’s all-wheel drive, which will intelligently transfer power to the front when the rear loses traction; though expect it to feel like a rear-wheel drive car in normal circumstances, which should make driving this sportscar a joy.There’s not long to wait now, as the much-anticipated deliveries of this fantastic looking 8-speed automatic Jaguar F-Type SVR start this summer.Images: autocar.co.uk, autoexpress.co.uk"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
