So what’s all the fuss about?Faraday FF91 LooksAlthough the car looks like a cross over between a people carrier and an SUV, there are some nice touches around the FF 91.The long one piece front and rear lights give the car a futuristic touch, along with the LED lights surrounding them.Overall we don’t have any complaints on the looks of the FF 91.FF 91 Electric PowerThe FF 91 will be powered by a 130kWh battery, which will be supplied by LG.This means the power output will equal to around 1036bhp and will do 0-60mph in 2.39 seconds, 0.01 second faster than the Tesla model S. This will make the FF 91 the fastest electric vehicle on the market.RangeFaraday Future claim that the FF 91 will have a driving range of 430+ miles on a full charge. And it doesn’t end there, Faraday also say the FF 91 can be charged from 50% to 100% in 4.5 hours when using the home charge system that comes with the car when purchased. We’ve seen many electric concepts with impressive stats but ultimately failed to deliver when it mattered in the past, so we will take these stats with a pinch of salt for the time being.Autonomous DrivingThe FF 91 will indeed have an autonomous driving mode, with the use of 10 HD cameras, 13 radars and 12 sensors.Although the demonstration at the CES Las Vegas didn’t go to plan as the autonomous mode didn’t work at all.FeaturesThe FF 91 will have a number of clever features to increase driving pleasure and making the FF 91 a unique experience. These features include; keyless entry with the use of facial recognition, cameras replacing side view mirrors and customisable personal preferences to name a few.Release? The FF 91 will not be hitting out roads any time soon as production is set to begin in 2018, and with the number of problems the company has been facing over the last few months, who knows when the car will actually begin production. The Future looks good for the FF 91.Faraday Future UpdateAs of October 2024 Faraday Future are accepting pre-orders for the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance with the following specification:0-60 mph – 2.27sTop Speed 155 mphRange 381 mi (estimated). With the base price set at a cool $309,000, the FF 91 2.0 seems to be in a class of its own.
