Although the sun didn’t shine as bright as it could have, that didn’t stop the crowds gathering at Santa Pod Raceway for this year’s Performance Vauxhall over the weekend. Over 11, 000 visitors made their way around the show, appreciating the many stands, displays and attractions on offer.
Dyno Dynamics were at this year’s Performance Vauxhall offering not 1, not 2 but 3 runs on the dyno for just £45. Included in the price was a print out of your car’s power, torque and boost measurements.
Entertainment was available for the whole family; for the little kids and bigger kids amongst us. Under 14s gained FREE entry and the Santa Pod fun fair ran all day on both Saturday and Sunday!
Plenty of people set up camp, wisely choosing not to miss out on any of the action. Late night entertainment included the laugh out loud gigs from rising comedians Richard Massara and Jonathan Elston, whilst the night owls were able to dance the night away with late night DJ sets until 2 am.
The ever anticipated Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) was of course very popular and for £25 unlimited runs were up for grabs with a dedicated Vauxhall only RWYB from 5.30 until 8.
No event at Santa Pod would be complete without the staggeringly fast FireForce 3 Jet Car powering up the strip! But blink and you would have missed it as the FireForce 3 Jet car holds the title of fastest terminal speed of any jet powered car on the planet…and trust us when you hear it – wow!
