Urus.Billed as the world’s first super SUV and named after a large Spanish fighting bull, the Urus combines high luxury with benchmark power, performance and driving dynamics, all wrapped up in a very pointy package that is unmistakably Lambo.Its typically eye-poking design takes cues from the LM002 – Lamborghini’s first stab at a luxury 4×4 from the 1980s – as well as the super sports cars synonymous with the brand.That imposing front-end pinches the Miura and Aventador’s peaked mound bonnet, but there’s also the diagonal hood lines of the Countach, injecting a dynamic Lamborghini flavour.How quick is a Urus?The idea of a new Lamborghini is always exciting, but certain elements are borrowed from the Audi Q7, such as the MLB Evo platform on which it sits. It’s what’s under the bonnet that sets it apart though, with a 641bhp four-litre twin-turbo V8 developing 850Nm of torque.Linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with a complex all-wheel-drive system that features active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering, the engine can complete the benchmark 0-62mph sprint in 3.6 seconds and race to 124mph from a standstill in 12.8 seconds, before topping out at 190mph. From 62mph, carbon ceramic brakes can bring it to a halt without the car travelling for more than 34 metres.Inside, there are seats for five while the dashboard echoes the crazy exterior. The driver and passengers are given a low yet comfortable seat position, firmly integrated within the cabin and every cockpit control is said to be within easy reach to the driver. Wheel options range from 21 to 23 inches.Lambo says the Urus will be the most powerful SUV available when it goes on sale this spring from around £165,000."},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
