The brand recently confirmed that the I-Pace will be capable of charging in 45 minutes.It has been rigorously tested in extreme terrain and temperature, with trials at Jaguar Land Rover\u2019s cold weather test facility in Arjeplog, Sweden where temperatures can drop as low as -40\u00b0C.Jaguar says the I-Pace will combine sports car performance and SUV practicality to become the perfect everyday car.The concept car revealed in November 2016 packed 394bhp and was able to sprint to 60mph in around four seconds, with a range of more than 310 miles.Ian Hoban, Jaguar\u2019s vehicle line director, said: \u201cNot only will the I-Pace charge quickly enough for our customers to carry out their everyday lives, it will offer powerful and precise performance in a variety of conditions and climatic extremes.\u201cAllied with the versatile credentials of our celebrated PACE family, this will be an electric performance SUV like no other.\u201dExcitement for the electric SUV has been rife in recent months, so much so that it was recently voted the most anticipated new car of 2018 by readers of What Car? magazine.It secured six times as many votes of any other model on the shortlist, pretty much humiliating other upcoming cars from Mercedes-Benz, Tesla and Audi.Are you hyped for the new I-Pace?
