The Stylish Explorer follows your more ‘everyday’ style, with its on-road road biased wheel and tyre package, ride height and typical to Mercedes and the ‘Stylish Explorer’ name, a classy and stylish leather interior.The Powerful Adventurer however is more of a ‘Rough and Ready’ variation with its four-wheel drive, wheel arch, off-roading tyres and more.Both X-Class follow Mercedes signature style all over, this can be seen through an endless list of features, such as the traditional grille placement, as mentioned interior quality and their newest headlamp features to name a few.Interior wise, the X-class models see integrated touchpad functions within the dashboard, alongside a rotary controller, similar to that of the V & C Class commercial vehicles.However, with this being a three-way venture, you’ll see features from the Renault Alaskan and the Nissan Nivara as well. Features such as the pick-up beds located behind the rear bench seating, traditional cable operated hand-brakes and central controls to name a few.Mercedes are yet to confirm the specification power wise, although mentions of Nissans involvement to produce a four-cylinder petrol and diesel unit, have been speculated, that’s said to be with Mercedes V6 gasoline engine also.Head of Mercedes-Benz’s commercial vehicle division, Volker Mornhinweg says “Mercedes-Benz’s commercial vehicle division has identified five different customer groups for its latest model: families, trades people, land owners, adventurers and individualists. “We will thus appeal to new customers who have not considered owning a pick-up before,”Overall, we kind of like where Mercedes are taking the X-Class models, and think the three-way venture with Renault and Nissan could potentially be an interesting one. Both versions of the new X-Class are set to launch in the UK in late 2017, so we’ll just have to wait and see!"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
