McLaren have tapped into the future concept of Formula1 racing and, the future is definitely looking green and bright.
McLaren have seemingly taken all factors of the racing aspect into consideration when strategically and thoroughly planning the new MP4-X model. Ground features such as chassis, driver tech, tyre sensors and vehicle systems have been looked into.
Whilst factors such as health care, movement and solar cells have been taken into consideration to improve the drivers experience and make the future of racing more green and efficient by absorbing the use of alternative power sources.
McLaren made a further statement about the new F1 concept:
“With the futuristic McLaren MP4-X concept racecar, we wanted to peer into the future and imagine the art of the possible,” said John Allert, Group Brand Director, McLaren Technology Group.
“We have combined a number of F1’s key ingredients – speed, excitement and performance, with the sport’s emerging narratives – such as enclosed cockpits to enhance driver safety, and hybrid power technologies.”
“Formula 1 is the ultimate gladiatorial sport, and the future we envisage will be a high tech, high performance showcase that excites fans like no other sport.”
Visually the new McLaren F1 model looks greatly appealing and plays up highly to the “futuristic” role, it’s safe to say we’re all in hope for the future of formula 1.
