Andy will be joined by Grove & Dean\u2019s Corporate Manager Darrell Atkins.The official launch event was a huge success with clients, insurers and some members of staff attending at the venue kindly hosted by the Classic Car Club who put on a fantastic display of cars for guests to wander around. For any petrol-head the Clubs spectacular array of cars would be some form of heaven. I truly was in a state of amazement as it was the first time that I had visited the club.The event was catered by Nyama Catering who provided a hog-roast feast for all members to enjoy, both the gentlemen who tended the food where superb and the food was sublime! Absolutely brilliant, there was minimal fuss and the guys where in and out without any hassle. The drink was covered by Majestic\u2019s who supplied a variety of very colourful beverages and the bar was tended to by some of the lovely staff members who done an astonishing job.Mike, Nigel & Adam where the guys behind the scenes ensuring that all the cars where prepped and ready for when guests begin to arrive and they even managed to give the guests a quick \u201csound-check\u201d of the V8 Mustang. Upon entering the venue everyone is greeted by the iconic Ford GT40, even though it is a replica it is one of the cleanest replicas that I have seen.The TVR Tuscan was placed facing down one of the lanes towards the entrance, looking directly at you was the aggressive front end, but the more you walk around the car and explore it, the more one begins to appreciate the thought and creativity that went into the creation of such an amazing vehicle, not so amazing was our knowledge on how to open the bonnet to reveal the heart of the beast.As mentioned earlier, the Ford Mustang was brought to life for the guests to witness the shear brute noise that is made when the V8 is brought to life. A few pushes of the accelerator and the V8 goes from a steady humming to an almighty roar, I could only find one word to describe it \u2013 beautiful. If you haven\u2019t notice, just a fair mention, the car has only done 40,205 miles. That is not a joke, that\u2019s 874 miles per year (roughly).\u00a0Taking over the Classic Car Club in Hoxton, the event took place on Thursday 12th December with a number of high profile attendees from the motor insurance industry.Many faces at last week\u2019s event left with a smile on after the enjoying the entertainment of the many classic cars from inside the venue. Much like an Aladdin’s cave, the Classic Car Club is lined with plenty of cherished classics, enticing the least enthusiastic to at least take a peek. Many cars were \u2018bubble-wrapped\u2019 from inside their cave-like parking space to preserve the car and protect it but some, like the Mustang, were proudly on display for the crowd to admire.The Classic Car Club plays host to many a magnificent vintage car.
