By the title we don’t mean the place in the United States, we are actually referring to the Celebrity Baker who co-hosts “The Great British Bake-Off”. He is set to rise again (see what we did there) into another season of racing.

Paul is already set to be racing in the second part of this year for Beechdean AMR in their Aston Martin V8 Vantage, competing in the GT4 class. However, due to restrictions on his race license he is unable to race in the first half of this year.

But, he is going to be racing and although it is not anywhere near the GT class, it’s still fun and exciting – which is what racing should be all about. Paul is actually joining fellow Alfa driver and Director of Grove & Dean Motorsport Insurance, Andy Hancock in the Alfa Romeo Championship.

He will be piloting an Alfa 156 2.0 TS, made race-ready by Bianco Auto Developments. The car is being prepped for the Twin Spark Cup class, which is part of the season-opening weekend down at Snetterton.
