Citroen C4 Cactus - Summer Special

Citroen has announced that its new C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition is going to be on sale in the UK from the 1st of June.

It’s really time for summer when you get behind the wheel of this model, as it’s perfect for going on those road trips to the beach that we all love – and sadly don’t get enough of in the UK!

The car was first unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and something that sets it apart from the other SUVs on the market is that it has a panoramic glass roof, which is fitted as standard.

Designed to cut a striking shape on the road, the Rip Curl edition is available in five body colours, the brightest of which is Sport Red. The paint job doesn’t just look good though, as it’s functional thanks to Citroen’s Airbump technology, which will protect your C4’s bodywork from scrapes and scratches.

Other standard equipment on the car includes rear parking sensors, a colour reversing camera, sat-nav and a six-speaker MPS audio system, which again is perfect for those summer drives.

With a name like Rip Curl, we’d expect that this would appeal to people who love surfing and being close to the sea.

Coast along at your leisure and wind the windows down while you soundtrack your journey – this C4 Rip Curl edition is perfect for you, if you like to get away from it all.

Two engines are available with the new C4 Cactus, you have a choice of the award-winning PureTech 110 S&S and the Blue HDi 100.

The first is great for sheer performance and speed and the second – although still powerful – is more focused on efficiency, hence it’s ‘Blue’ title.

In terms of the actual figures, the PureTech produces 100g/km of CO2 emissions, while the Blue HDi records 95g/km, making it free from tax.

Available from the first day in June, you can pick up a Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition soon and from a starting price of £18,480.
