Either way, these cars are just on the horizon of release and there’s a good range of cars due to be leaving showrooms soon. From new supercars to new econoboxes, there’s a bit of everything for everyone.Ford Puma STFord Puma ST 2020Following tradition, Ford is releasing a sportier version of their new, highly-successful SUV/crossover, the Puma. As you may know, the Puma was originally a sports coupe back in the 90s/00s and although this reimagining of the Puma is rather different, it’s now (at least somewhat) returning to its sporty beginnings. We already know what the new Puma ST will mostly look like thanks to the existing Ford Puma ST-Line but there’s rumours of a bespoke chassis and an optional limited-slip diff. as well!Porsche 911 GT3 (992)Porsche 911 GT3 (992)The current GT3 has been around since 2013 and is based on the 991 911 model which was released in 2011. Now that the new generation of 911 has been released, the 992, a GT3 is due to be released.Said to be released in the second half of 2020, the new 911 GT3 will feature the ultra-sexy rear light bar that extends across the width of the car, as seen on other 992-gen 911 models such as the Carrera above. There’s also rumour of the new GT3 being turbocharged. Purists won’t like that!BMW M3 and M4BMW M3Britain is BMW’s 3rd largest market for BMW M cars which tells me that we must like them. The M3 is possibly BMW’s most famous car and has been respected ever since they started making them in the 80s. Finally, the new M3 is on its way and will show its face sometime this year.BMW M4The same can be said for the M4. We’re very interested in these two cars because the new 4 Series and M4 are said to have a totally redesigned, much larger grille so it’ll be interesting to see if the new M3 has a redesign as well, or simply just follows the styling of the current 3 Series as expected.Jaguar XJ (electric)Jaguar XJ R – Images of the new electric edition haven’t been released yet.The next-generation Jaguar XJ (which will only be available as an electric car) is set to be launched this year, although it’s uncertain whether JLR will be able to stick with their plan. Spy shots of the car have been captured and the car is in the testing phase. The current-gen XJ was released back in 2010 and production only ended last year, meaning the car is way overdue for a refresh. It will certainly be interesting to see the performance figures of an all-electric XJ.BMW iX3BMW iX3Keep in mind that the above photo is a concept car, so the production version may not look quite as cool. Either way, the idea of this car is cool as it will be BMW’s first all-electric SUV and is rumoured to have a range of around 250 miles. Finally, the lonely i3 and i8 will soon have siblings. The iX3 is said to be based on the existing X3 SUV but cosmetic differences could be significant enough for it to look like a whole new model. BMW also plans to release more electric cars, another upcoming one being the ‘iNEXT’.SEAT El-BornSEAT El-Born 2020Looking like the Nissan Leaf’s cooler sibling, the El-Born is SEAT’s first electric car. Note that these images are from the concept car which was said to be 95% production-ready, so hopefully, the production model will look just as cool.SEAT El-Born 2020Expected to be released this year just after the VW ID.3, the El-Born is said to have 201 bhp and will be able to do 0-62mph in just 7.5 seconds, pushing it into hot hatch territory.Which new car are you most excited about and why?
