In fact compared to the YZF-R125 supersport model, the streetfighter edition has a easier riding position for both the rider and passenger, making it a more useful everyday bike. It\u2019s nice and agile for low speed riding in the city with a steering angle of 33.5 degrees.The engine and fuel tank area is compact, with the single cylinder 125cc engine equipped with a close fitting underguard.It also features a high specification front end that includes 41mm upside down front forks. These offer greater rigidity for more precise steering.\u201cWith 130mm of travel at the front end together with 114mm available through the linked monoshock rear suspension, the MT-125 is built to give a sporty and comfortable ride,\u201d says Yamaha.The bike\u2019s front braking system is described as one of the most advanced in the class, and features a floating 292mm diameter disc that is equipped with a radially mounted caliper that is designed to provide better initial response and more effective stopping power.Available in the UK from July, the MT-125 will be available in a choice of three colours: Matt Red, Matt Grey and Race Blu. Motorbike insurance will reflect the value of the machine, which is expected to come in around the \u00a34,000 mark, similar to the KTM Duke.It comes as Yamaha releases another 125cc machine for the city; \u00a0the Majesty S, a compact and affordable new 125cc scooter. It boasts lightweight 13-inch wheels, monoshock rear suspension and is powered by a liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine.This has the city commuter a lot more in mind than the MTY-125, which is more of an all-rounder.
