Fans of classic motorcycles and performance vehicles will want to head to this year's Cholmondeley Pageant of Power where an ultra-rare Moto Guzzi V8 concept bike is to be on show.
Holder of the Grand Prix motorcycle speed record for more than 20 years, the vehicle – which is perhaps better known as 'the Otto' – will be taking to the track in the hands of legendary rider Sammy Miller.
The bike's top speed of 171 mph resulted in it dominating racing in the late 1950s, with its 500 cc engine and streamlined bodywork meaning the motorcycle was a true powerhouse to ride.
A number of other classic bikes and attractions will be on display for festival-goers in 2012, including a rare 1939 Velocette 'Roarer' Supercharged Twin concept and the 1910 Edison-Puton Monowheel.
Set to run from June 15th to 17th, the event will also see TT legend John McGuinness taking to the track on the latest incarnation of the iconic Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.
