You may have noticed there’s a new Forza game out and many Xbox owners have probably spent most of their waking hours burning virtual rubber this weekend.

The release of Forza Horizon 4 has been slightly staggered somewhat. While the ‘Ultimate Edition’ became available on Friday 28th September, the standard and deluxe versions were held back until the game’s global launch on Tuesday 2nd October.

So, anyone who didn’t fork out extra for a four-day headstart will most likely be excited by this cheeky promo staged by Xbox.

In the 97-second clip, a McLaren Senna – the brand’s most extreme model ever and one of the game’s cover cars – engages in an epic head-to-head race with three 450cc Motocross bikes up the iconic Goodwood Hill.

[Spoiler alert] Unsurprisingly, the 789bhp track car with a 208mph top speed won out, even with the bikes’ unconventionally direct route up the hill across the grass – but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some jaw-dropping jumps and tricks to take in along the way.

McLaren cars have been featured extensively throughout the Forza series, including the P1TM, which debuted on stage at E3 2013 and went on to be the cover star of 2013’s Forza Motorsport 5.

This time around, it’s the Senna – a car designed, engineered and developed with one single purpose: to be the ultimate McLaren track-concentrated car for the road. Production of the road-legal track car is well underway in Woking and so far, over 50 customers have now taken delivery of their McLaren Senna.

Meanwhile, Forza Horizon 4 gives Xbox and PC gamers the chance to collect, modify, and drive over 450 cars, playing solo or teaming up with friends to race, stunt and explore the UK.
