Here some of the world’s top drivers will be belting their cars around the private roads of the medieval Chirk Castle, with a special competitive section laid out for just this purpose. However, RallyFest isn’t just about the WRC. It is also promising more displays and parades for petrolheads to enjoy. At 10:00 BST, a line up of supercars will be turning up to Chirk to complete two laps before they park up to allow visitors to get a good look. Cars that are already confirmed for the event include ones from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati and one of the very rare BAC Monos.Following this, there will be demonstration runs by rally cars of the past, which have been arranged by Slowly Sideways UK.These parades and displays are meant to ensure visitors are on time and ready to watch the full WRC action which gets going afterwards. The Wales Rally GB has been run 68 times since it was created in 1932. In the past, in has faced enforced stoppages such as World War Two, the Suez Crisis of 1957 and Foot and Mouth in 1967.Since the establishment of WRC in 1973, the Wales Rally GB is one of only two events to have maintained its status as a qualifying and scoring round. The other stage that holds this accolade is Finland.Tickets for RallyFest must be purchased in advance to get to the event and cost \u00a325 for adults. Families can also enjoy significant discounts."},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Latest News","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"name":"Legendary cars roll into RallyFest","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/legendary-cars-roll-rallyfest\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
