Jaguar is adding two new special edition models, the performance-focused 300 SPORT and the feature-packed Chequered Flag, to its award-winning F-PACE luxury SUV lineup.
Denoted by its 22-inch alloy wheels and exterior detailing in Dark Satin Grey, the 300 SPORT comes with a choice of engines.
Performance & Power
The two-litre Ingenium petrol option provides 400 Nm of torque, is capable of accelerating the car from 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds and boasts a top speed of 145 mph, while the three-litre V6 diesel – packing 700 Nm of torque – tops out at 150 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds.
The second new addition to the F-PACE range, the Chequered Flag, is based on the R-Sport model and comes with an array of aesthetic tweaks on the vanilla F-PACE. A new, sportier front bumper and Gloss Black grille detailing are among the most noticeable updates.
A range of two-litre all-wheel-drive powertrains are available for the Chequered Flag, including a 250 hp unit capable of powering the vehicle from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds, with a top speed of 135 mph. Drivers can also choose diesel powertrains in either 180 hp or 240 hp specifications.
Interior
Inside, the Chequered Flag sports a variety of convenience-aiding features and technological enhancements, ranging from ten-way electric front seats and a panoramic roof, to a high-performance sound system produced by Meridian Audio and a reconfigurable 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display.
The 300 Sport has the same interior specs as the Chequered Flag edition but comes equipped with a darker, more sinister and sportier interior trim.
What has Jaguar said?
Ian Callum, director of design at Jaguar, said: “The Jaguar F-PACE has established itself as the ultimate performance SUV. Not only does it combine sports car DNA with the practicality of a larger vehicle, it does so with a great aesthetic.
“The latest special editions build on this visual appeal by enhancing the model’s sporting character to each create something unique. The F-PACE line-up has something for everyone.”
Launched back in 2015 before entering production the following year, the F-PACE has been well received, winning both the World Car of Year and World Car Design of the Year titles at the 2017 World Car Awards.
