This system features a 16 cm flip-out touch screen, loudspeakers and specially-designed housings.CMC designed and re-engineered the suspension on the car. The front has uprated coil springs, a power assisted rack, roll bar, adjustable dampers, wishbone bushes and solid subframe mountings that were repositioned to improve the anti-dive characteristics. At the back, uprated coil springs have been added in as well as blade control wishbones, outboard disc brakes, adjustable dampers and an anti-roll bar.Speaking about his redesigned car, Mr Callum said: “This is a very personal statement. A long held notion that, although the Mark 2 has always been a beautiful car, it could be even more exciting in shape and performance. Whilst maintaining the purity of the car\u2019s form, I wanted to add a number of modern twists to the design. Simplification and clarity was my objective.\u201dHe also explained a number of changes in specifications that were incorporated. These included lowering its form by 30 mm and putting it on 17” split rim spoke wheels. Additionally, the bumpers are now part of the car’s overall form.It was not just the Mark 2 that made a star appearance at the opening of the CMC headquarters. The building was officially opened by motorcycle and Formula One champion John Surtees. What’s more, the car itself was revealed by Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis."},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"Latest News","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/#breadcrumbitem"},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"name":"Jaguar unveils redesigned Mark 2","item":"https:\/\/smart-motoring.com\/latest-news\/jaguar-unveils-redesigned-mark-2\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
