In a celebration of 75 years of Jaguar sports cars, the British automaker has announced that they will be producing a set of special edition F-TYPEs, available as either Coupe or Convertible body styles. The release will mark the final model year for the line, with Jaguar keen to send the F-TYPE out in style.

Facing the car head-on, its width is immediately highlighted by the pair of super-slim LED headlights that elegantly melt into the clamshell bonnet. The vehicle’s muscular haunches emphasize its sweeping form and aid in creating accentuating the F-TYPE’s powerful, sporty look. All F-TYPEs are constructed with 20-inch wheels as standard, with the 75 boasting a five-spoke design and the R 75 a diamond-turned 10-spoke design.

The interior of the new F-TYPE expertly blends Jaguar’s renowned craftsmanship and detailing with a collection of sleek features, cultivating a truly luxurious driving experience that doesn’t compromise on sportiness. At the heart of it, you’ll find the ‘1+1’ cockpit which features a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display, a gearshift light to tease the F-TYPE’s performance potential, and lightweight slimline seats. The latter is available in Sport or Performance designs and has been ergonomically optimized to maximize driver comfort. And in keeping with Jaguar’s commitment to grandeur, the inside is graced with Windsor leather, crafted monogram stitching, and an ebony headcloth headliner.

Don’t let the F-TYPE’s stunning good looks fool you, it’s a beast under the hood. Those eyeing up Jaguar’s latest release will get to choose between four and eight-cylinder options, capable of outputting up to 575PS.

The 300PS 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder option is exclusively rear-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 5.6 seconds. The 450PS 5.0-litre supercharged V8 variant – available in the F-TYPE 75 – picks up the pace, accelerating from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds. This variant also offers both all and rear-wheel drive options. If you wish to truly maximize performance on all roads, and in all conditions, then the R 75 is your go-to; powered by a supercharged V8 capable of delivering 575PS, the R 75 is offered solely as an all-wheel drive allowing for better traction in tricky conditions. It also clocks in at just 3.5 seconds for 0- 60mph.

The eight-speed Quickshift transmission – coupled with all engine variants – is controllable via either the SportShift gear selector or paddles mounted to the steering wheel. As standard, every engine is matched to a switchable active exhaust system that features close-coupled particulate filters to minimize emissions.

For those with an appreciation for authenticity, Jaguar proudly boasts that all engines are made at Jaguar Land Rover’s Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton, UK. Both models are available to order now, with the first deliveries scheduled for January 2023.
