Looking like a classic and timeless race car in a classy bronze/old-gold colourway, the GP1 also tends to hark back to times that will soon be in the past, with a V12 naturally aspirated 6.6-litre engine.GP1 Limited EditionThe GP1 is described as a ‘fully analoque’ limited edition hypercar, which sits on a carbon monocoque chassis with power supplied via the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. There will only be 25 units produced, and each will be hand-finished to the new owner’s specifications via a bespoke commissioning programme.Bespoke V12 PowerGaragisti & Co are a UK-based company, although the V12 engine has been entirely developed by Italtecnica, an Italian company that has been pioneering automotive engineering since 1985. The V12 beast of an engine produces 516lb ft of torque with an equally impressive 789bhp. The promise is for a somewhat retro organic feel to the immense power that the GP1 will produce. While full specs have yet to be revealed by Garagisti & Co, the power to weight ratio might prove significant with the GP1 planned to be an ultralight 1,000kg in dry weight.The svelte and classy looking design of the Garagisti & Co GP1 was created by Angel Guerra, and it will not be much of a surprise to hear that Guerra has previously designed for both Rimac and Bugatti.The development of the GP1 has been a partnership with some of the best brands that we might hope to find on a new hypercar, with Brembo supplying the stopping power, Ohlins providing competition-grade suspension and Xtrac providing the 6-speed manual gearbox. A classy and snug interior provides measured cabin noise and enough luggage space to allow the GP1 to be a grand tourer.No Expense Spared for the GP1Garagisti & Co says that the GP1 is a no expense spared limited edition hypercar, and with that in mind we come to the price, which will be – depending on bespoke extras – at least £2.45 million. Bu then, if you need to ask, you can’t afford it.For those first 12 buyers, Garagisti’s Open Doors programme will reveal insights into the design, with gatherings across the UK and Europe featuring the car’s designers, engineers and visionaries, giving a unique insight into how the GP1 was created. With only 25 units being sold, it’s a bit of a shame the Open Doors offer isn’t available for all buyers.Currently, the Garagisti & Co GP1 hypercar is in the final stages of engineering and production, and what we see here are immaculate and detailed renders of what we will shortly be able to see in the metal.Images: newspressuk.com"},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
