On the exterior, slap bang in the middle of the boot is a rather large \u2018Mach 1\u2019 badge where the horse or \u2018GT\u2019 badge would be, so owners can feel proud of their top-of-the-range Mustang. The Mach 1 also has a front splitter which has been redesigned for increased downforce and the rear diffuser from the Mustang Shelby GT500.On the inside of the car, the Mach 1 has leather sports seats and a white cue ball gear knob which is mated to a high-performance TREMEC six-speed manual transmission, a first for Mustangs in Europe. This advanced manual transmission features rev-matching tech for smooth downshifts, handy for both track and road, as well as an upgraded oil-cooler system to deal with the high temperatures brought on by all-out track racing.On top of a fancy gearbox, the Mach 1 also comes with a suspension setup that\u2019s unique to the model, featuring specifically calibrated MagneRide\u00ae 2 dampers as well as bespoke dampers, anti-roll bars and bushes. All of this equates to seconds of your lap time on the track thanks to improved handling through the twists and turns.The Mustang Mach 1 makes 460 PS thanks to a special engine map, cranking out plenty of power from the V8 which can be heard with the sonorous Active Valve Performance Exhaust which is also specifically tuned for the Mach 1. Other technical features include improved cooling for brakes, transmission and oil as mentioned before, as well as limited-slip differential and retuned power steering software for…well, optimal steering.The manual is priced at \u00a355,185 with a 10-speed auto also available for \u00a357,185.
