On the inside, you’ll find matte carbon fibre sills, air register pods and centre console.Throw in four optional accent colours – silver, orange, red or blue – for the mirror caps, centre stripe and callipers, and the end result is arguably the most visually striking GT yet.The Carbon Series also features a unique seat pattern with silver stitching that also appears on the steering wheel, as well as clear anodised paddle shifters and a unique badge for the instrument panel.Hermann Salenbauch, global director at Ford Performance, believes the Ford GT Carbon Series will stand out on the road with its striking, carbon-fibre-rich design and on the track with its athleticism.“It is yet another example of how we can bring to life our Le Mans-winning supercar in new and exciting ways, so our customer can share in that magical legacy,” he said.Lance Mosley, marketing manager at Ford Performance, added: “This is an example of how we listen to our customers.“While the Ford GT Competition model appeals to hardcore racing enthusiasts, we found more customers asking for more exposed carbon fibre, with the air conditioning and radio still intact. So we developed the Carbon Series to satisfy that need, while providing a distinct look.”What do you think of the Ford GT Carbon Series? Let us know down in the comments.
